Job summary

Holiday Stationstores Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Minneapolis, MN to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service. The role includes staffing, training, inventory and financial oversight, and coordinating with suppliers.

The position requires strong leadership, communication, and planning skills, with a focus on safety, compliance, and store presentation. Flexible shift availability is a plus, with an emphasis on day-to-evening coverage and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the CSR/ASM job description.
• Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR/ASM job description.
• Ability to use computer to analyze reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to/from meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, and well kept.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service and site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separation of employees.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers.
• Promote service quality and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Promote safe, positive image in the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback.
• Train staff on customer service, site hygiene, and marketing execution.
• Train employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Develop effective communication channels with staff and conduct regular meetings.
• Organize action plans to meet site objectives and manage files and reports.
• Supervise staff to ensure reports are completed accurately and merchandise is displayed and priced correctly.
• Ensure posters and signs are accessible to all employees.
