Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, all majors welcome, OR Walgreens Community Internship Program, OR High School Diploma/GED and two years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities including professional business ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills and business acumen.
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training within 12 weeks of ESM start date.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept promotion into a Store Manager position, possibly requiring relocation to a different store location.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters and stores front-end operations.
• Resolves customer complaints and ensures positive customer experience.
• Leads recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline of team members.
• Monitors and coaches customer service performance and improves metrics.
• Assists Store Manager with overall store operations and achievement of company deliverables.
• Supports store assets protection, merchandising, and profitability.
• Oversees scheduling, time records, and store coverage.
• Drives store performance using data, KPIs, and feedback.
