Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Operations Leader to supervise customer service associates and oversee front-end and pharmacy/retail store operations. The role partners with the Store Manager to ensure execution of company deliverables and strong customer experiences.

The candidate will lead recruitment, performance management, scheduling, and training, while maintaining asset protection, cash controls, and compliance with policies. Flexibility for extended days and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record or Walgreens Community Internship Program or High School Diploma/GED and two years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities that include professional business ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials training within 12 weeks of start date.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; willingness to work flexible schedule and potential relocation.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters; manages front end and supports Pharmacy/Retail Store operations.
• Leads store team with recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline of direct reports.
• Assists Store Manager with overall operation, data-driven decisions, and community outreach opportunities.
• Maintains store assets, merchandising, scheduling, cash handling, and safety/compliance responsibilities.
