Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, all majors welcome OR satisfactorily completed a Walgreens Community Internship Program OR High School Diploma/GED and two years of experience in a supervisory position.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities including ethics, motivation, and strong communication.
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to promote to Store Manager and potentially relocate.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters; manages front end and store operations.
• Drives store performance, merchandising, asset protection, and profitability.
• Leads recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline of team members.
• Engages customers and patients, resolves complaints, and models service excellence.
• Coaches and trains staff to improve customer service metrics and loyalty.
• Analyzes financial and performance data to identify store improvements and growth opportunities.
