Job summary

Walgreens in Marietta, GA seeks a Store Manager to oversee daily operations of the store and pharmacy, including opening/closing, scheduling, and inventory control. You will lead merchandising efforts, drive sales, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer and patient experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of retail management experience or equivalent; pharmacy technician licensing as required by state law; and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store and pharmacy operations including opening/closing and scheduling.
• Supervise merchandising by planning and implementing sets and revisions of basic department and end stands, display tables, and promotional space.
• Resolve customer complaints and help respond to customers’ special needs.
• Analyze financial and performance data; develop action plans to increase sales and control costs.
• Ensure staff has working knowledge of all computer and technology systems and software; ensure response to systems problems by IT support.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and employment laws.
