Job summary

Responsibilities include recruiting and training employees, conducting performance evaluations, enforcing safety policies, managing inventory, and ensuring financial integrity with cash controls and reporting. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting diagrams and safety rules.
• Cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing and training staff.
• Ability to lead and develop a store team.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure store staffing.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and address performance gaps.
• Make pay rate and advancement recommendations.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; coordinate meetings.
• Open/close the store regularly and manage daily operations.
• Evaluate statements for sales trends, profitability and expense control.
• Ensure in-stock targets, review ordering plans, and perform cycle counts.
• Facilitate staging and stocking of merchandise per company processes.
• Maintain merchandising standards, pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash controls; ensure security.
