Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain outgoing, enthusiastic rapport with customers and provide excellent service.
• Complete and supervise the Management Training Program.
• Hire and train an Assistant Manager with District Manager approval.
• Train store personnel with guidance from the Assistant Manager and District Manager.
• Consult District Manager on personnel or operational issues; escalate to Regional VP or Senior VP as needed.
• Control inventory shrinkage within company targets; disciplinary actions for exceeding limits.
• Maintain Shrink Check Test score at 80 or above; address any shortfalls.
• Enforce company safety policies; maintain good relations with local law enforcement for security.
• Prepare and supervise weekly schedules and operate the store within payroll budget with Assistant Manager.
• Assign duties and train employees per company procedures.
• Ensure policies are communicated and enforced; adhere to Work and Disciplinary policies.
• Transmit payroll information accurately and timely per policy.
• Maintain in-stock inventory and seasonal merchandise distribution.
• Keep store clean, displays organized, and office/stock areas neat.
• Maintain operating hours as directed by Senior Management; report equipment/building issues.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

3+ years of store management experience

Ability to communicate in English
