Job summary

Ross Stores in Athens, Tennessee seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, development of leadership teams, and execution of company standards for a high-quality customer experience. You will manage payroll, staffing, and training while ensuring compliance with policies and active loss prevention programs.

The role requires strong leadership, English fluency, and the ability to work evenings and weekends to support store performance and employee development.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to meet Company standards and best practices.
• Analyze store reports to manage controllable expenses and overall store performance.
• Schedule Associates to meet business objectives and ensure coverage.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors and Associates.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
• Oversee merchandising and presentation to Company guidelines and timely stock flow.
• Lead annual inventory process and ensure accurate counts and reporting.
