Lids Sports Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in San Antonio, TX. This role oversees daily store operations, drives sales, mentors staff, and ensures excellent customer experiences. You will manage schedules, training, and compliance while supporting merchandising and loss prevention efforts.

You’ll lead a team to meet KPIs, participate in providing exceptional service, and help create a welcoming, inclusive store environment aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead and train store associates through LIDS Training Programs and goal setting.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings as needed.
• Engage the team to create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Maintain compliance with dress code and brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including coverage during peaks.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safekeeping of inventory and funds.
• Support in operations and merchandising to drive KPI targets.
