Job summary

KwikFill in Penn Yan, NY is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to share responsibilities for daily store operations with the Store Manager. You will assist with training, policy compliance, and ensuring smooth operations across departments.

You will supervise staff, support customer service, merchandising, cash handling, and safety compliance while maintaining a neat appearance and supporting weekend and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Prior convenience store experience is helpful but not required.
• Reliable transportation and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of store employees and sales.
• Assist in training and motivation of staff.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Price, stock, and front merchandise.
• Operate cash register and POS systems.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; comply with Health Dept rules.
• Handle cash and inventory reporting.
• Work at least two weeknights and three weekends per month.
