Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker with lead responsibilities in the absence of store management. You will assist in plan-o-gram implementation, stock merchandise, and provide exemplary customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role includes operating the cash register, bagging, handling payments, and maintaining store appearance and safety. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to the store's prescribed process.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes per process.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Help customers locate merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Operate cash register and perform cashier duties.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
