Job summary

pOpshelf seeks a Lead Team Member to maintain a clean, well-organized store and champion a customer-first culture. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate the cash register, stock and reset displays, and help with side duties as assigned by the Store Team Leader to maximize store profitability.

The role requires a strong knowledge of product placement, safety practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to exceed expectations.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Stock and recover merchandise; maintain a clean, organized store.
• Assist with merchandising and displays to drive sales.
• Assist customers at self-checkout and during checkout process.
• Open/close the store under supervision when needed.
