Job summary

Circle K in West Mifflin, PA is seeking a Full-Time Retail Associate to greet customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness. The role requires weekday and weekend availability and adherence to dress code and safety rules.

Responsibilities include handling payments, performing general housekeeping, and assisting with inventory and merchandising. Prior retail experience is preferred and a high school diploma or GED is desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to perform the four arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers as they enter the area and thanks customers as they leave.
• Rings up all sales on cash register properly and accurately, handling money and other payment types.
• Performs multi-function operation of fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions, etc.
• Maintains the store facility’s condition and equipment to brand standards through cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
• Completes build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise and verifies vendor deliveries.
• Controls merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses; assists with inventory and shift audits.
• Monitors shift sales, cash handling procedures and daily close-out functions.
• Supervises the activities of customer service representatives in the absence of the Store Assistant Manager.
