Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support store operations, greet customers, stock shelves, and manage plan-o-grams under Store Manager guidance. You will handle cash at the register, assist customers, and contribute to a clean, safe shopping environment.

The ideal candidate has a High school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of supervisory or related experience, with strong math, cash handling, and communication skills to power everyday store activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and cashier accountability preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves; rotate and face merchandise.
• Operate cash register; process payments and bag merchandise.
• Greet customers; assist in locating merchandise and provide customer service.
• Maintain store cleanliness; dust, mop, and restock as needed.
• Open/close store under direction of Area Manager.
