Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a Cashier/Stocker in a store setting. You will greet customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and help maintain plan-o-grams while ensuring store cleanliness and safety.

In the absence of the Store Manager, you may authorize refunds and assist with cash handling and deposits. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of supervisory or related experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and total customer purchases; bag items.
• Prepare and maintain plan-o-grams and stock displays.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and maintain store cleanliness.
• Unload trucks and stock inventory; rotate products on shelves.
• Open/close the store per Area Manager directions.
• Maintain cash control and assist in refunds or overrides when needed.
