Job summary

WinCo Foods, LLC is seeking an Associate to assist management with store operations, performing clerk duties in grocery and freight areas, and leading by example. You will answer customer questions, provide fast, friendly service, and support the department manager in daily operations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting clerks, handling inquiries, monitoring traffic flow, and maintaining clean, well-displayed areas.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate with teammates.
• Understanding of store policies and procedures.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple duties.
• Basic math for transactions and weights/measures.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and serving customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Perform clerk duties in designated department (grocery or freight).
• Lead customer service and address complaints or requests.
• Monitor checkout lanes and customer traffic flow.
• Keep work area clean and displays organized per policy.
• Assist with cashiering, stocking, and other duties as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Support supervisors and other clerks as directed.
