Job summary

In the absence of store leadership, you may step in to oversee cash handling and daily tasks. Typical duties include unloading deliveries, stocking merchandise, and operating the register with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Experience with IBM cash registers and related checkout technology.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves according to store processes.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and maintaining displays.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and make change.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including front end and stockroom.
