Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
• Ability to operate the IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise according to store procedures.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and providing superior service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in store areas (front end, stockroom, restrooms).
• Operate cash register, bag merchandise, and handle payments.
• Help maintain plan-o-grams and store layout as directed.
