Little Words Project is opening a brand-new store on King Street in Charleston, SC and we’re seeking a Store Manager to help bring it to life. Lead a team, shape culture, and drive guest experiences from day one.

As a people-focused leader who loves retail, community, and a fast-paced environment, you’ll hire, train, coach, and develop staff, while optimizing sales metrics and ensuring a welcoming, on-brand store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience preferred.
• Experience hiring, scheduling, coaching, and developing employees.
• Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing store team.
• Create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive store culture.
• Drive sales and guest engagement through exceptional service and CRM strategies.
• Monitor key sales metrics and coach the team to achieve goals.
• Bring the brand to life through visual merchandising, product launches, events, and community activations.
• Oversee inventory, POS, cash handling, and daily store operations.
• Lead bead bar appointments, custom orders, and special guest experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and on-brand store.
• Ensure compliance with policies while adapting to a new location.
