Job summary

Walgreens in New Jersey is seeking a store position responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. You will assist with receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns, and ensure planogram accuracy.

You will review reports affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing, support asset protection, and, when needed, open/close the store, handle cash, and prep the floor and stock room for

Qualifications

Inventory management experience preferred.
Knowledge of front-end and pharmacy operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy; supports inventory management activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns; ensures planogram accuracy.
Reviews and coordinates use of reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
Executes asset protection techniques and files claims for overages, shortages, damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management when required, handling required systems start-ups and cash handling.
Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
