The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store in Aiken, SC is seeking a dependable Store Helper to assist with receiving, sorting, pricing, and displaying donated merchandise while helping customers and keeping the store organized.

This is a physical, part-time role with pay of $9.11 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Candidates must be available on Saturdays and able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals who are dropping off donations.

Store Hours

Monday-Friday: 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM-5:00 PM

About This Opportunity

The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store in Aiken, SC is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Store Helper to join our team.

The Store Helper receives, sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for display and sale. This position also assists customers, helps maintain a clean and organized store, and supports the daily operations of the Family Thrift Store.

This is a physically active position and is not primarily a sitting position. Applicants must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the workday and perform frequent lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying.

Moderate physical effort is required. The position involves lifting and carrying light to heavy objects weighing up to 75 pounds, with assistance when needed.
