Job summary

Kroger in Indiana is hiring to support day-to-day store operations and to coach associates toward the Full, Fresh, and Friendly strategy. This role emphasizes customer service, merchandising, and frontline leadership to meet sales and EBITDA targets.

As part of Kroger, you’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment, develop teams, manage labor and costs, and uphold safety and compliance while delivering great shopping experiences for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales management preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve goals.
• Proficient in basic math for cash handling and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leader and team members in achieving a favorable customer shopping experience.
• Lead merchandising and operating initiatives with the team.
• Identify opportunities in-store and develop timely action plans.
• Drive sales with team to maximize profits and reduce shrink.
• Participate in regular store-level financial discussions to meet budgets.
• Analyze competitive landscape and respond accordingly.
• Coordinate division merchandising plans and implementation.
• Assist with staffing, retention, and store operations.
• Provide feedback on performance to team members.
• Manage labor and supply costs daily to meet targets.
• Handle physical demands of standing, lifting 50 lbs, and repetitive motions.
• Perform essential functions with/without reasonable accommodation.
