Job summary

The Tom Beckbe store in Tuscaloosa, AL is hiring a Retail Store Director to oversee daily operations, inventory stocking, merchandising, and in-store events at 2427 University Boulevard. You will ensure an exceptional in-store experience and help outfit customers for their adventures.

Lead a team with strong customer service, sales, and product knowledge while collaborating with corporate to manage product flow. Weekend availability and proactive work ethic are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within retail/apparel environments is preferred.
• Strong leadership, sales, and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate authentic customer connections through every interaction.
• Act as a brand ambassador with deep knowledge of the Tom Beckbe product line.
• Discover and assess customer needs and offer thoughtful solutions.
• Assist customer service team with returns, exchanges, and inquiries.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with corporate inventory and warehouse for future needs.
• Assist in training and hiring of retail associates.
• Assist with in-store events.
