Store - Alexandria, LA

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. Provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and finding products.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting and disposing of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusting and damp mopping floors.
• Moving equipment and products for cleaning and returning products to correct placement.
• Cleaning assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment, including mixing water and detergents when necessary.
• Deep cleaning key areas like bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high traffic zones.
• Keeping cleaning equipment organized and notifying supervisors of supply needs.
• Identifying areas needing cleaning and taking initiative to complete tasks.
• Completing all tasks assigned by supervisors in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Maintaining positive interactions with team members and customers, serving as a role model.

Additional duties may include:

• Providing a friendly checkout experience and handling cash according to standards.
• Engaging customers about Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with enrollments.
• Supporting Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.
• Participating in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Supporting shrink and safety programs.
• Adhering to SOPs and company policies to ensure legal compliance.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Physical requirements and work environment:

• Ability to stand long periods, move throughout the store, bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves with equipment.
• Work in climate-controlled and outdoor environments, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
