What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for delivering parts to commercial customers and assisting with store tasks and inventory processes. The role can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers
• Pick and stage parts for orders
• Handle returns and cores
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
• Manage daily credit account collections

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness
• Stock parts, including truck and back stock

Success Factors

• Basic driving and navigation skills
• Proficiency with delivery systems
• Friendly communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts
• Knowledge of safety procedures

Prior Experience

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Physical Demands

Requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise is possible.
