Goodwill of Greater Detroit is seeking a donor attendant to greet donors, assist with donations, and provide receipts in a fast-paced retail environment. The role emphasizes excellent donor service and adherence to established donation processing guidelines.
The position offers full-time hours with eligible benefits, including health and disability coverage, PTO, and holiday pay. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required, with a background check as part of the process.
Position Summary: Our store donor attendants greet and help people who are making a donation, and then do an initial sort of that donation to speed along the processing of those donations. You'll need to provide excellent service to our donors! This is a critical role in our retail stores and is eligible for healthy incentive pay based on the store's performance.

Requires standing and walking and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending, and reaching with hands and arms. Requires frequent lifting and moving of heavy items up to 40 pounds. May be required to stand for entire shift.
Requires energetic, team-oriented individual with a positive “can-do” attitude and an ability to understand, accept and work with people who have disabilities and/or other barriers to employment. Need to be able to identify different materials included in donations.
