Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Carmel, IN is seeking a Store Director for the North Indianapolis Market. You will lead retail operations, deliver outstanding shopping experiences, and drive the store's financial performance.

The role requires 5 years of retail/service experience, 3 years of leadership, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience, and overseeing $40M+ in annual sales. You will mentor leaders, ensure staffing, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience.
• 5 years of retail/service industry experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience including management of leaders with direct reports.
• Retail leadership experience with $40 million+ annual sales preferred.
• Position may require lifting, carrying, and other physical acts.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and deliver a top-tier shopping experience for customers.
• Analyze financial data to maximize sales while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members and leaders to meet/exceed goals.
• Ensure proper staffing and professional development of team members.
• Maintain corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures for a safe work environment.
• Cultivate relationships in the local community to support the Meijer brand.
