Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Frisco, TX is seeking a Store Director to lead the overall operation, guide strategic direction, and drive sales, service, and compliance across all departments.

You’ll supervise budgeting, inventory, safety, and associate development, partnering with HR and operations to achieve targets while maintaining regulatory standards. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities to shape customer experience and contribute to the growth of the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead company customer service standards and create a culture focused on customer satisfaction.
• Drive sales and operational initiatives throughout the store.
• Communicate company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to department leadership and associates.
• Conduct regular leadership meetings to review promotions, business priorities, and operational expectations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, community organizations, and business partners.
• Serve as the primary leader and decision‑maker for total store operations.
• Plan, direct, and oversee all store operations.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, product rotation, in‑stock conditions, display standards, and code‑date compliance.
• Monitor store conditions daily and coach teams on execution standards.
• Implement company and division merchandising, operating, and sales initiatives.
• Ensure all departments maintain company standards for cleanliness, appearance, and execution.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, develop, and retain store associates and department leaders.
• Conduct performance reviews and make employment decisions regarding promotions, transfers, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Build associate engagement and foster a positive work environment.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee relations matters and compliance concerns.
• Identify and develop future leaders through succession planning and training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance throughout the store.
• Oversee workplace safety initiatives and ensure adherence to OSHA and local regulations.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws, wage and hour requirements, scheduling guidelines, and employment policies.
• Protect company assets through proper controls and accountability measures.
• Achieve sales, profit, labor, shrink, and expense targets.
• Analyze store performance reports, including P&L statements, and develop action plans to improve results.
• Manage store operating budgets and expenses.
• Oversee inventory control, audits, and asset protection programs.
• Ensure accurate completion of operational and financial reporting requirements.

Position Purpose

The Store Director is responsible for the overall operation, leadership, and financial performance of the store. Key Responsibilities
