Join to apply for the Store Design Project Manager role at LVMH.

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Project Manager to join the Store Design team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for developing freestanding stores, wholesale, and Pop-ups in the US and Canada, working closely with the worldwide store design team and other departments, consultants, and contractors from project initiation to opening. Responsibilities include overseeing store layout improvements, project budgets, schedules, and design, and ensuring standards of quality are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Global Store Design on new store development.
  • Maintain relationships with tenant coordinators and mall managers.
  • Coordinate design documents for bid, landlord review, and permits with the architect.
  • Review architectural documents with senior management.
  • Coordinate security, communication, and data requirements.
  • Obtain landlord approvals for design reviews.
  • Create bid requests for general contractor scope and assist procurement.
  • Review bids, coordinate costs and schedules, and maintain project timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, review invoices, and coordinate with the cost controller.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure standards and design compliance.
  • Participate in weekly site meetings to monitor progress.
  • Coordinate with authorities for certificates and inspections.
  • Support store openings and transition activities.
  • Develop punch lists, verify corrections, and manage closeout procedures.
  • Prepare maintenance manuals for store managers.
  • Assist in multi-project budgeting and scheduling.
  • Develop Pop-Ups from design to build-out in collaboration with Visual Merchandising.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in luxury retail.
  • Degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.
  • Legal work authorization in the US required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
  • Strong budgeting, math skills, and understanding of design documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
Salary & Benefits:

The annual salary ranges from $105,000 to $110,000, depending on experience. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, health insurance, 401k matching, employee discounts, and more.
