Role description

Currently, Arcadis works with some of the largest data center providers in the world. We are growing and need to add experienced Data Center Design Project Managers to our American Places group.

This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the USA.

The successful candidate should expect to travel up to 30% of the time domestically within the United States related to site and client location work. Come Join Us!

Role accountabilities

• Facilitate client requirements for the design of hyperscale data centers throughout the United States
• Manage the design process from campus planning/basis of the design stage through issuance of construction drawings, including overseeing external design teams and coordinating procurement, change orders, and engineering information exchange
• Work with internal and external teams, building strong relationships, ensuring clear communication, and meeting project milestones and deadlines
• Travel to project sites and client meetings, up to 30% of the time
• Ensure project deliverables meet milestones, deadlines, and format requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of project design experience with data centers or large complex construction projects (hospitals, high-rises, laboratories, manufacturing, high-power plants)
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and directly with clients
• Proficiency in project planning, technical specifications, BIM, Autodesk platforms (ACC), or equivalent
• Bachelor's in Architecture, Engineering, or related field; licensure (PE, NCARB, RA) preferred
• Strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
