Job summary

Industrial Color seeks an experienced Designer & Project Manager, Store Design, to drive end-to-end delivery of luxury retail environments across flagships and shop‑in‑shops. You translate concepts into build-ready AutoCAD/SKetchUp documents while overseeing millwork quality and vendor coordination.

Based in a hybrid setup with several days onsite in midtown Manhattan, you will collaborate across cross-functional teams and executives to preserve brand intent and deliver high‑impact design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
• 5+ years of design and project management experience in retail environments.
• Strong command of retail design principles, brand rollout and prototyping.
• Proven track record managing large-scale design programs for high-profile clients.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of multi-stream store design programs with timelines and budgets.
• Maintain real-time status dashboards for executive visibility.
• Produce AutoCAD construction sets with fixture details and power plans.
• Review millwork drawings for reliability and brand compliance.
• Create 3D visualization and presentations using SketchUp and Adobe CS.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and retailers across initiatives.
• Manage vendor ecosystems to protect design intent and resolve technical challenges.
