Job summary

NIKE Grapevine is seeking a Department Manager to lead a fast-paced, high-volume store. You will coach your team, uphold Nike's Service Principles, and manage daily operations from staffing to merchandising to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

As the face of NIKE in Grapevine, you’ll recruit and empower teammates, foster community partnerships, and drive store growth with a positive, inclusive culture. Full-time hours include nights and weekends with benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
• One year of leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build and lead high-performing teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods
• Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution and coaching
• Able to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Leading a team that keeps all store functions running seamlessly.
• Ensuring the store is staffed by attracting, assessing and onboarding future teammates.
• Equip store employees with tools needed to succeed in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Lead store team and business results including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership and management.
• Managing product life cycle from stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
