Overview

• Store Delivery Driver
• Full time - 36.75 hours per week
• Permanent Contract
• Shifts available Monday - Sunday, 7.00am - 10.00pm
• UK Notional hourly rate £14.27 per hour (Inclusive of a £0.81 per hour, store specific location allowance)

What’s the job?

We have over 300 B&Q Stores, with our Digital Hub Stores delivering locally to customers’ homes. Deliveries in our 3.5 ton vans range from a tin of paint to 30 packs of flooring, so heavy lifting is involved. When not delivering, you will be based on our shopfloor, using technology to fulfill orders and support colleagues. You’ll represent the B&Q brand, prioritizing customer service, safety, and efficiency.

What We Need

A great communicator who can think clearly and plan effectively, even in busy situations. You’re organized, analytical, and capable of keeping things simple. We’ll provide the 3.5 ton van, training, and necessary equipment. A manual UK driving license (Category B/B1) held for at least a year with no more than 6 points is required. Previous multi-drop delivery experience is useful but not essential. Flexibility to work on a rota including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays is necessary.

We conduct checks through Experian and the DVLA to verify your information and perform a DBS check. Discrepancies will be discussed with you.
