Job summary

WinCo Foods in Idaho is seeking a diligent store custodian to maintain a safe, clean facility and provide friendly customer service. Typical shifts run 6–8 hours between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm, with hours across a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, cleaning floors and restrooms, handling trash, stocking supplies, and assisting with shopping cart organization. Must meet age and food-handling certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation including night, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification per state laws.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes, engages, serves and thanks customers to provide friendly, courteous service.
• Maintains a clean and safe store environment; performs cleaning tasks regularly and as needed.
• Maintains safe, spill-free floors by sweeping and mopping; keeps logs for sweep tasks.
• Empties trash cans and bins throughout interior and exterior areas.
• Wipes down walls, appliances, cases, rails and other surfaces; cleans and sanitizes restrooms.
• Dusts and vacuums store facilities; assists with lamp replacements and backroom cleaning.
• Assists with bringing in shopping carts from the parking lot; performs other duties as assigned.
