Job summary

Peoplemark is hiring a dependable Retail Janitor to maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation of the store. Responsibilities include floor care, surface sanitization, restroom maintenance, waste management, spill response, exterior upkeep, and inventory monitoring.

The role requires standing for 8 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a focus on health and safety standards. The shifts include First Shift and Weekend Shift, offering consistent hours and a steady work routine.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, dilution ratios, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Floor care: sweep, mop, vacuum, and operate floor cleaners daily.
• Surface sanitization: clean and disinfect high-touch areas on the sales floor.
• Restroom maintenance: clean, sanitize, and restock supplies as needed.
• Waste management: empty trash and recycling, dispose of waste properly.
• Spill response: clean spills quickly and place hazard signs to prevent slips.
• Exterior upkeep: maintain outdoor walkways and entrances by sweeping debris.
• Inventory monitoring: track cleaning supply levels and notify leadership when restocking is needed.
