Job summary

Peoplemark is seeking a dependable Retail Janitor to maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation of a Wisconsin store. You will handle daily cleaning tasks across showroom, restrooms, offices, and exterior areas to keep our facility compliant with health standards.

Second shift opportunities are available: Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat 5 pm–8 pm, and Sun 4 pm–7 pm. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or retail maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety protocols, PPE usage.
• Ability to operate or learn heavy cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Floor care: sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain tile, carpet, and walkways.
• Surface sanitization: clean and disinfect high-touch areas like registers and displays.
• Restroom maintenance: clean, sanitize, restock supplies.
• Waste management: empty trash and recyclables; dispose properly.
• Spill response: address spills quickly with signage.
• Exterior upkeep: sweep entrances and sidewalks, maintain parking areas.
• Inventory monitoring: track cleaning supplies and notify when restocks are needed.
