We are looking for a Counter Sales associate who will be the "face of the retail store" and assist customers with their automotive needs. No need to be a mechanic, but automotive parts knowledge is essential. This role offers opportunities for career growth, whether full-time or part-time, and is suitable for those interested in the automotive industry or looking to start their career in retail.

Responsibilities:

• Assist retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions in person and over the phone
• Support team members with product knowledge
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience
• Engage customers and bring energy to the store
• Use technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs

Ideal Candidate:

• Enjoy helping customers with auto parts questions
• Have experience or interest in automotive repair or tinkering
• Willing to learn about auto parts if new to the industry
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade courses a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in automotive, heavy equipment, or related fields
• Experience in retail or auto parts stores
• Knowledge of inventory systems and cataloging
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
