Join to apply for the Store Counter Sales role at NAPA Auto Parts

We are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store," assisting customers with their automotive needs. Prior automotive parts knowledge is preferred, but a willingness to learn is equally valued.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Providing auto parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
2. Assisting team members with customer inquiries using your parts knowledge.
3. Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
4. Engaging customers and bringing energy to our fast-paced stores.
5. Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs to assist customers.

Who You Are

• Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and services.
• Have automotive industry experience or enjoy tinkering with vehicles.
• Willing to learn automotive parts if new to the industry.
• Interested in career growth within a supportive team environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry is a plus, but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical courses are a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong listening skills and customer empathy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership work.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Customer-centric attitude.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.
