Job summary

Grocery Services South, LLC. is seeking a motivated Store Clerk to join our Edinburg, TX team. In this part-time role, you will assist customers, manage inventories, stock shelves, and keep checkout areas tidy while supporting the store team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong organizational skills, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Experience in retail is a plus, and we offer a sign-on bonus and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management: Order merchandise based on inventory levels and demand.

• Unpack, stock and organize shelves and bins to keep a well-lit, appealing store.
• Maintain cleanliness of counters, shelves, floors and bathrooms.
• Assist store manager and team with other duties to ensure smooth operations.

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Store Clerk to join our team at our Angelitoslocation. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while contributing to our mission of helping those who need it most. It all begins with you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Order merchandise from our warehouse or suppliers based on inventory levels and customer demand. Check product levels, expiration dates, and rotate stock. Occasionally conduct physical inventories.
• Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service at the checkout counter, assisting customers with their product selections and processing payments via cash, SNAP, or WIC cards.
• Stocking & Merchandising: Unpack, stock, and organize shelves, racks, and bins with new merchandise to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing store.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness by routinely cleaning counters, shelves, floors, and bathrooms to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
• Team Support: Assist the store manager and other team members with any other duties or tasks needed to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
