Job summary

Grocery Services South, LLC is seeking a motivated Store Clerk for the Alamo, TX location. This part-time role emphasizes customer service at the checkout, inventory checks, stocking, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist diverse customers, with health and safety guidelines followed daily. The position offers a sign-on bonus after 90 days, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or store clerk experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Order merchandise from our warehouse or suppliers based on inventory levels and customer demand.
• Check product levels, expiration dates, and rotate stock. Occasionally conduct physical inventories.
• Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service at the checkout counter, assisting customers with their product selections and processing payments via cash, SNAP, or WIC cards.
• Stocking & Merchandising: Unpack, stock, and organize shelves, racks, and bins with new merchandise to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing store.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness by routinely cleaning counters, shelves, floors, and bathrooms to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
• Team Support: Assist the store manager and other team members with any other duties or tasks needed to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
