Job summary

Kinney is seeking a friendly cashier to ring up customer purchases, operate the POS system, and ensure accurate cash handling. You will provide change, close the register correctly, and help customers with large purchases when needed.

You will also assist with stocking, pricing, and merchandising of the checkout area, while maintaining a clean workspace and assisting with general store duties. Attendance and punctuality are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and operating a POS system.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to assist customers.
• Ability to accurately scan items and process transactions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scan and ring out all customer purchases using POS register.
• Provide correct change and complete cash transactions.
• Close out the register at end of shift and verify totals.
• Assist customers with large purchases and carry items to their cars as needed.
• Replenish inventory and merchandise the checkout area and surrounding departments.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms, break rooms, back rooms, and entryways.
