Kph-Healthcare-Services is seeking a cashier to ring up purchases accurately and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will handle transactions, answer questions, and help maintain a clean, organized checkout area.

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers with large purchases, while ensuring proper cash handling and timely closing of the register at shift end.

Qualificações

• Preferred: 0-1 years of experience in a related position.
• Experience in retail or cashier roles is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ring out customers and ensure accuracy of transactions using the POS system.
• Provide correct change and handle cash, checks, or card payments.
• Close out register at end of shift following procedures.
• Assist customers with large purchases and carry items to their vehicles as needed.
• Replenish stock and merchandise from in-store or incoming orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout area and restrooms, break rooms, backrooms, entry ways.
• Answer phones with professional greeting and assist customers as needed.
• Assist with inventory management, pricing, and checkout area merchandising.
• Identify and report shoplifting per company policy.
• Assist in ordering replacement products and returning outdated stock.
• Package and prepare items for home/business delivery.

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned task.Job Summary: Responsible for ringing out each customer’s purchases while ensuring total customer satisfaction.Job Duties:Accurately scan and ring out all customer purchases using POS register including cash, check and charge transactionsAccurately provide change to customersFollow proper procedure for closing out of register at end of shiftRequest additional help as needed to maintain appropriate customer service levelsOffer assistance to customers with large purchases as needed (carry purchases out to their cars)Replenish inventory from in-store stock and in coming ordersPerform general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional and clean check out areaAssist in the maintenance of general store cleanliness including restrooms, break rooms, backrooms, and entry ways- responsible for daily store standardsReplenish register supplies as neededAnswer the phone using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as neededAssist in the inventory management, price marking and merchandising of the check out area and surrounding departments as neededReact to potential shoplifters following company policyAssist in the implementation of Kinney Standard of Presentation (Merchandising)Assist in the ordering of replacement product from the appropriate supplierAssist in identifying and returning outdated or over stocked merchandise to the proper sourceAccurately package and prepare items for home/business deliveryResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedAttendance Requirements:Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shiftsExperience:Preferred: 0-1 years previous experience in related position
