Scope of Responsibilities

Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Job Summary

Responsible for ringing out each customer’s purchases while ensuring total customer satisfaction.

Job Duties

• Accurately scan and ring out all customer purchases using POS register including cash, check, and charge transactions.
• Provide correct change to customers.
• Follow proper procedures for closing out the register at the end of each shift.
• Request additional help as needed to maintain customer service levels.
• Assist customers with large purchases, including carrying items to their cars.
• Replenish inventory from in-store stock and incoming orders.
• Maintain a clean and professional checkout area.
• Assist in store cleanliness, including restrooms, break rooms, backrooms, and entryways.
• Replenish register supplies as needed.
• Answer phone calls professionally and maintain customer service levels.
• Assist with inventory management, price marking, and merchandising.
• Follow company policy in reacting to potential shoplifters.
• Support the implementation of Kinney Standard of Presentation (Merchandising).
• Assist in ordering replacement products from suppliers.
• Identify and return outdated or overstocked merchandise.
• Package and prepare items for delivery.
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Attendance Requirements

Must be punctual and available for scheduled shifts.

Experience

• Preferred 0-1 years of related experience.

Special Conditions of Employment

• Drug testing required.
• Ongoing monitoring of employment eligibility and disciplinary actions.

Compensation

$15.50 - $16.00 per hour. Final offer depends on skills, experience, and education. KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. complies with all applicable wage laws.
