Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a customer-focused associate to ring up purchases at the register and ensure total customer satisfaction. You will handle POS transactions, assist with larger purchases, replenish stock, and maintain clean checkout areas.

The role requires attention to detail, reliable attendance, and willingness to perform housekeeping and merchandising duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ring up purchases at POS accurately and handle cash, checks, and card payments
• Provide correct change and balance the register at close
• Assist customers with large purchases and carry-out services as needed
• Replenish in-store inventory from stock and incoming orders
• Maintain clean checkout area and restrooms, break rooms, backrooms and entryways
• Attend mandatory training programs and follow Kinney Standard of Presentation for merchandising
• Process deliveries and prepare items for home/business delivery
• Identify and return outdated or overstock merchandise to suppliers as required

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned task.Job Summary: Responsible for ringing out each customer’s purchases while ensuring total customer satisfaction.Job Duties:Accurately scan and ring out all customer purchases using POS register including cash, check and charge transactionsAccurately provide change to customersFollow proper procedure for closing out of register at end of shiftRequest additional help as needed to maintain appropriate customer service levelsOffer assistance to customers with large purchases as needed (carry purchases out to their cars)Replenish inventory from in-store stock and in coming ordersPerform general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional and clean check out areaAssist in the maintenance of general store cleanliness including restrooms, break rooms, backrooms, and entry ways- responsible for daily store standardsReplenish register supplies as neededAnswer the phone using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as neededAssist in the inventory management, price marking and merchandising of the check out area and surrounding departments as neededReact to potential shoplifters following company policyAssist in the implementation of Kinney Standard of Presentation (Merchandising)Assist in the ordering of replacement product from the appropriate supplierAssist in identifying and returning outdated or over stocked merchandise to the proper sourceAccurately package and prepare items for home/business deliveryResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedAttendance Requirements:Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shiftsExperience:Preferred: 0-1 years previous experience in related position
