Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to keep our store clean and welcoming for customers. The role includes housekeeping and janitorial tasks, with training to operate buffers and floor scrubbers and a strong emphasis on safety and policy compliance.

The full‑time position features a four‑day, ten‑hour schedule, while the part‑time role covers the remaining three days, also ten hours each day, with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to push, pull, lift up to 30lbs. with or without accommodations.
• The ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• The ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the work day.
• A high school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial or custodian experience.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing to keep store clean.
• Use buffers and floor scrubbers after training.
• Handle trash and bathrooms with safety and cleanliness in mind.
• Follow task outlines and comply with ISO regulations and company/state policies.
