Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring an Environmental Services Technician (EST) for both full-time and part-time roles at our store. You will maintain a clean store environment through housekeeping and janitorial tasks, ensuring a welcoming shopping experience for customers.

The Full Time position follows a four-day, ten-hour schedule while Part Time covers the remaining three days, also ten hours each. Training includes buffers and floor scrubbers with emphasis on safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to push, pull, lift, up to 30lbs. with or without accommodations.
• The ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• The ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the work day.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial or custodian experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep store clean by dusting, mopping, sweeping and polishing.
• Use buffers and floor scrubbers as trained.
• Handle trash and bathrooms as part of daily duties.
• Follow task outlines and comply with ISO regulations and policies for safety and security.
