Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Team Member to keep the floor, seating areas, restrooms and back offices clean and safe. You will support store maintenance, perform minor repairs, assist with supply ordering, and uphold health and safety rules across departments.

The role emphasizes prompt, courteous service and alignment with WFM core values, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work in a wet and cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on the daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports all teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplies required for store maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Maintains the store's landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives to work on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends trainings.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
