Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members for the Roanoke, VA store to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and customer service. You will help customers find items, maintain the store’s appearance, handle checkout duties, and engage guests in rewards programs.

The role includes stock and safety responsibilities, with a focus on a positive customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Applicants must be 16 years or older.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
• Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and Ship from Store) and related duties.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
