Job summary

Michaels Stores in Lynchburg, VA is looking for a store cleaner to uphold a high standard of cleanliness and recovery to deliver our Brand Promises. You’ll help customers, keep aisles tidy, and assist with safety programs while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, trash disposal, stocking, and assisting with additional store tasks as needed. Night/early morning shifts and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Collect and dispose of trash and dust/mop floors as directed.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and return to proper placement.
• Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms and breakrooms; report needs.
• Perform tasks in accordance with SOPs and company programs.
