Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Issaquah, WA is hiring a Janitorial Helper Clerk to maintain cleanliness and order across the store. You’ll perform sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash disposal, with opportunities to assist in the grocery department as needed.

The role emphasizes professional customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet physical demands. A Washington Food Worker Card is required and shifts may include weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must meet physical demands: standing, bending, twisting, lifting 10–40lbs.
• Must have a current Washington State Food Worker Card.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and order throughout the store.
• General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, eating areas and trash.
• Clean refrigerated cases and perform deep cleaning as needed.
• Pressure wash shopping carts, baskets and outdoor areas.
• Stocks and faces grocery items when needed.
• Operates equipment per PCC standards and maintains safety.
